Authorization Process Confirmation - Batch

Use:

This page is used to confirm a Batch Authorization in ADAM.

Results:

This page allows you to complete the Batch Authorization.  The page shows any authorizations which were not approved as well as those which were approved.

Access the page:

This page displays when you click the Add Authorizations button on the Batch Authorization page.

How to:

Follow these steps to use this page to confirm the addition of the batch authorization:

Examine the first column.  This column contains a check mark for each approved Authorization.  If you do not wish to add an authorization, click the box (to remove the tick).

Review the Batch Authorization.  Pay close attention to the Approved column.  If this column contains a:

• , then the corresponding Authorization has been approved.

• , then the corresponding Authorization has NOT been approved and will not be added to ADAM.

If the authorization is not approved by ADAM, you can roll your mouse over the in the Approved column (or click on the word ) and an explanation is displayed.  

The following are examples of un-approved authorizations:

• Your batch authorization includes authorizations for profiles which are secured by organization and those which are not secured by organization.

• The authorization you are attempting to create already exists in ADAM.

Complete the Notification section of the page if you want the End User(s) to each receive an email notification of his/her authorization(s).  Note:  Only one email will be sent to each End User regardless of the number of authorizations he/she has in this batch.

Click the Complete button to add all authorizations which are approved and contain a tick in the first column.

In the example screen below, click on the underlined name of a field or a button.  A pop-up window appears with explanations and information on terms.
