Delegation Process Confirmation - Batch

Use:

This page is used to confirm a Batch Delegation in ADAM.

Results:

This page allows you to complete the batch delegation.  The page shows any delegations which were not approved as well as those which were approved.

Access the page:

This page displays when you click the Add Delegations button on the batch delegation page.

How to:

Follow these steps to use this page to confirm the addition of the batch delegations:

Examine the first column.  This column contains a check mark for each approved delegation.  If you do not wish to add a delegation, click the box (to remove the check mark).

Review the batch delegations.  Pay close attention to the Approved? column.  If this column contains a:

• , then the corresponding delegation has been approved.

• , then the corresponding delegation has NOT been approved and will not be added to ADAM.

Complete the Notification section of the page if you want the Authorization Grantor(s) to each receive an email notification of his/her delegation(s).  Note:  Only one email will be sent to each Authorization Grantor regardless of the number of delegations he/she has in this batch.

Click the Continue button to add all delegations which are approved and contain a check mark in the first column.

If the delegation is not approved by ADAM, you can roll your mouse over (or click on) the icon (in the Approved column) and an explanation is displayed.  

The following are examples of unapproved delegations:

• Your batch delegation includes delegations for profiles which are secured by organization and those which are not secured by organization.

• The delegation you are attempting to create already exists in ADAM.

In the example screen below, click on the underlined name of a field or a button.  A pop-up window appears with explanations and information on terms.
