Navigating Introduction

We'll start with the big picture of how to come and go from SPAR, then zoom in on moving among functions like doing a search and then a request, finishing with getting around in specific forms.

Coming and Going

Like other Web applications, you use a URL (address) to locate SPAR. You can find it quickly again in
2 ways:

• Save the URL as a Favourite or Bookmark it.
  On your browser click on Favourite or Bookmark and create a new folder or
  add it to one you already have. Then next time you need it just look in
  that folder.
  
• Create a shortcut on your desktop.
  When you open SPAR and are in the homepage, right click. On the menu that
  comes up click on Create Shortcut. The shortcut icon should appear on your desktop. Now click
  on it to enter SPAR.

To leave SPAR, close it like any other window, clicking on the X in the upper right corner.

Remember that when you're in SPAR, you're using an Internet connection. You can lose that connection. To avoid frustration make sure to complete a task before letting it sit unattended.
